Construction, Renovation, and Restoration, Provided by Arkahdia Arts Studio.

If it's corbels, ceiling medallions, mouldings, friezes, half pillars, sconses, light switch plates, or any other architectural piece which you may require for a tricky restoration, Arkahdia Arts has a solution for you. Construction, remodeling, and particularly restoration are specialties of ours. We have some very flexible services available.

Do you need to have a mold made from an in-place moulding, corbel, or frieze? Need to repair damaged architectural pieces at your home or a client's location? Need a large run of fully finished sconses? Our Master Caster has done it before.

Capital We have over 600 different molds of architectual pieces to cast from and have produced runs of over a hundred pieces many times. For example, we casted and finished 75 of our popular HB35 Half Pillar Hanging Brackets in brillant gold for a theater restoration project on New York's famous 42nd street.
Our Master Caster in addition to doing custom molds from pieces sent to us, has the ability to go to your client's location and construct molds from in-place pieces. He then produces the duplicate pieces back in the shop which can be installed.

The Corbels shown here were part of a run of 110 made from a custom mold. These decorative roof support brackets were casted with a piece of rebar in them for the outside restoration of a 100 year old house in Minnesota. The customer sent us three separate pieces each with deterioration in different parts and we were able to produce a mold by having one of our craftsmen piece them together and clean it up to make a single solid corbel to cast from. Corbels

This repeatable moulding section (shown below) came from a restoration of a 200 year old colonial era house in upstate New York.
Molding
Half the house's molding had been destroyed by a roof cave in. Our Master Caster went on site and made a mold from the remaining intact moulding and ceiling medallions. Then we reproduced this ornate molding to be installed by the construction crew doing the renovation and painting.
